Every citizen in Billund Municipality plays an important role in contributing to realising the municipality’s climate action plan.

That is why we are launching a fund that allows associations, communities, and citizen groups to apply for support for climate activities that make sense locally.

The projects should benefit people, nature, and the local community, thereby contributing to a more climate-friendly lifestyle.

You can apply for support for projects that:

• benefit nature, outdoor life, or access to urban green areas (e.g., community gardens, trails, guided garden walks, etc.)
• strengthen the local sharing economy (e.g., hitchhiking stops, carpooling, car/bike sharing, tool libraries, swap shops, etc.)
• contribute to saving resources (e.g., repair cafes, communal dining)
• inspire a climate-friendly lifestyle (e.g., movie nights, lectures, or other events that broaden your horizon)
